Overview
This is a one track prototype racing style game built in the Unity game engine. The goal was to take a clunky car controller and make it feel like a Go-Kart from Mario Kart. In addition, After that was done Daniel then worked on making an appropriate track for this car to drive on. This project was a solo project in which Daniel worked alone.
Description
What I did:
Expand a set of C# scripts to control the Kart
Tune the Kart to move like a Kart from a Mario Kart game
Design a track for the Kart to drive around and pacing the track
What I started with:
A basic car controller
A 3D model of a Go-Kart
Various Texture files
A Checkpoint script
A test track (different from the final one) to tune the Kart’s handling
